  1. Well I promised a review once I got the item and it actually dropped for me once I read it. I have every issue of the walking dead and have adored the series, but it has been losing steam ever since the prison left. To me this was the worst issue yet. The story line was way predictable there was no surprise at all at least to me. After the first page (spoiler) you know the new people are cannibals, you know Dale is bitten, and you know who shot the child. A few comics ago they introduced the new story arc of trying to get to DC and figuring out what caused the Zombie scourge and if it could be healed. This was a logical and interesting step, but this issue had one page even mentioning this arc where they check the radio and it doesn’t work. It just saddens me that a series I have loved as become completely formulaic every episode they will kill at least one member but find a new member and meet a human who is either a jerk or a psychopath. Then every 2 episodes we get to experience anything major with the zombies. I get the zombies are a tool for explaining and showing just how far man can fall, but at this point the story needs something to kick it back. I know these boards are all love for this issue, but everyone I talk to agrees that this comic has just lost too much steam.

If you have people pre order an item you would think you would get enough copies to fill the order. I preordered this back in June and now I am told I can’t get it now, because they are out of stock. That is a freaking joke. I mean what is wrong with a company to take more pre orders than items you get. I will post an updated score when I get my order

i am a huge fan of the walking dead

i have religiously read every volume til now and refuse to go to single issue format. i PRE-ORDERED on amazon so i could have it shipped the day it came out. DEC 29th… jerks….. and what does my account say NOT YET SHIPPED. WTF!!!! really amazon i always had respect for the company i even own some stock. which i will gladfully sell while i wait for my next volume. i went to every comic bookstore in my area, on the 30th and they were all sold out. go figure it is on the new york times best seller list, so you would think you would order enough copies to at least cover the pre-orders. i would happily give a review of the actually comic but alas its still sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

  4. I have to say that if you haven’t read the first 10 trades, then you aren’t going to like the too much. The continuation of the story is what makes it so good.

  5. This edition presents a wonderful continuation of the Walking Dead series. Rick and his band of survivors are dwindling as they trudge on to a zombie free zone. THi sedition si a great read and a good addition to any zombie book enthusiast.
